History
Rescue Training Institute was founded in 1991 by Greg Landin. Since that date, RTI has taught more than 50,000 students. RTI was designed to met the needs of our clients that demanded quality, relevant, enjoyable saftey training without sending their employees to another part of town.
Our greatest delight through the years is to hear the stories of lives that have been saved and emergencies that have been handled by our students. |

The Owner
Greg Landin is a 25 year veteran Captain/Paramedic for Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. In addition to his responsibilities as president of the company, he serves RTI as a Training Center Coordinator for the American Heart Association (AHA). He is also a Master Instructor for Medic First Aid, which provides the highest quality emergency medical education. As a TCC and Master Instructor, his training responsibilities include instructor education, provider education, and program quality control. |

The Instructors
Our employees are firefighters, paramedics, EMT's hand picked specifically for our instructional staff. They have years of experience in their fields of expertise and have qualified to become your course instructor. Each instructor is American Heart Association Instructor certified and MEDIC FIRST AID Instructor certified as well. |

The Office Staff
Our office staff is the best you can find. Everyone is our office is fully trained to handle any of your safety needs.
Kelly Lundbeck serves as Administrative Assistant to Greg Landin and she is your initial point of contact to set up your training. If it's important to you, it's important to Kelly. She is responsible for ensuring you get the right class the first time, booking your course and for customer service.
Danny Benedetto is our Programs Director. He is responsible for instructor development, and oversight of all of our training programs.
In addition he is responsible for the oversight of all of our AED programs and AED clients. This is to include all aspects of AED program implementation: AED product demonstration, sales, policy development and program tracking. Should you have a technical question, chances are you'll be talking to Danny. |
